Moreover, the symposium was introduced for epidemiology and enviroments for animal mycosis and prototechosis. This symposium enlightened the attendance on the recent worldwide problem of these infectious disease.

Participants consisted of 48 persons (from 7 countries ) of veterinarians, microbiologists, medical technologists, molecular biologists, and others.

Program of the symposium: Opening Mycoses in Companion Animals

1. Malassezia dermatitis in dogs and cats: current recommendations and relevance of topical treatments 2. Fungal rhinosinusitis: emerging agents of aspergillosis in cats Break 10min

3. Cryptococcosis : in companion animals 4. Microsphaeropsis arundinis, which is an emerging infectious disease of humans and animals in Australia Lunch 12:00-13:00

5. 15:00-16:30pm on July 1st 2018, Amsterdam

Moreover, the symposium was introduced for epidemiology and prevention for animal prototechosis. This symposium enlightened the attendance on the recent worldwide problem of these infectious disease. We are going to extend for investigation about other orphan, fungi-like microbes (eg. Helicosporidium, Rhinosporidium, Pythium, Lagenidium, Microsporidium) on this WG.
