1,5AG (GlycoMark) story for clinicians

[9]
"Your glycemia is good". No!!

HbA1c also has individual variation that may be explained in part by variability in the erythrocyte life span, some de-glycation pathways that may be affected by gene- mediated variability etc.
Even if "HbA1c < 6.5%" has been attained, that may not mean the real good glycemic control for the patient.
If you want to attain the real normalization of HbA1c, you have to succeed in the lowering glycemia more tightly according to the guide of 1,5-AG.
6.5% of HbA1c is not necessarily the goal of treatment in each individual.
