Hirono Ishikawa, PhD
Professor of Social and Behavioral Sciences

Hirono Ishikawa Ph.D. is Professor of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Teikyo University Graduate School of Public Health, where she teaches and does research on health behavior and communication. She received her Ph.D. in social and behavioral sciences from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health (2004) and the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine (2005). Her primary research interest is on physician-patient relationship and communication, health literacy, and communication skills training in healthcare professional education.
