Masaaki Matsuura, PhD
Professor of Biostatistics

Masaaki Matsuura, PhD, is Professor of Biostatistics at Teikyo University Graduate School of Public Health. Currently, he has served as the auditor of the Japanese Society of Biometrics and also as the general affairs director of Japanese Society of Applied Statistics. Before 2014, he was Cancer Genomics Chief in Cancer Institute, and also Team Leader of Bioinformatics Group in Cancer Center, at Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research. He had also served as a visiting scientists of Public Health Science Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Seattle, USA) for two years since 1997, when he was Associate Professor of Department of Environmetrics and Biometrics, Research Institute for Nuclear Medicine and Biology at Hiroshima University.
