Keisuke Kuwahara, PhD
Associate Professor (Lecturer) of Epidemiology

Dr Keisuke Kuwahara is an Associate Professor (Lecturer) of Epidemiology at Teikyo SPH. At Kobe University, he studied public health (especially, school health) and physiological anthropology and graduated from the university in 2007. He received Master of Arts (MA) in 2009 and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2012 both at Kobe university in health promotion sciences. Then, as a Research Fellow at the Department of Epidemiology and Prevention, National Center for Global Health and Medicine, Japan, he trained in epidemiology, diabetes prevention, and occupational health. He joined in Teikyo SPH as an assistant professor in 2014 and promoted to associate professor (lecturer) in 2017.
He is interested in living peacefully; his research findings (mainly on lifestyles, work styles, and health) relate to this issue. He has involved in Japan Epidemiology Collaboration on Occupational Health Study, Furukawa Nutrition and Health Study, and other cohort studies in Asia.
