SPH participated and exhibited at the 30th Global Festa

We, Teikyo SPH members participated in the 30th Global Festa as a part of the off-campus practical class of seminar in Global Health.

The theme of this year is “A world full of diversity, let’s talk about the future we envision.”

The event was held on a smaller scale than in previous years, fully diversity of NGOs, NPOs, international organizations, companies, universities, embassies, and other organizations involved in international cooperation exhibited and reported on their activities.

The SPH booth was displayed photos of our classes and activities, as well as photos of the sanitation situation in developing countries as we are studying public health. We made visitors enjoyed and interested in our booth.

Then the flag quiz created by the students was also a great success! A lot of visitors said “It was difficult for beginner or It was not beginner version. But it was a good opportunity for them to get to know the countries where we are doing international cooperation activities, such as countries they have never heard and small island countries that are difficult to find on the world map.

To connect people to people, things to things and people to things is also part of public health. We hope that each opportunity at the booths and venue will lead to the creation of a world full of diversity. My best memory is traditional dress experience at the Kyrgyz Embassy next door.

SPH students and SPH graduates also came with their families.
Thank you all for visiting our SPH booth!
